Guides

What I learn while building my apps, and what I test on my own iPhone. Nothing sponsored.

How these guides are written

Each one answers a question I asked myself before building the app that goes with it. How many push-ups a day you should be doing, where and when to see the northern lights, how much to budget for a trip, how to cancel a subscription you have been paying for eight months without noticing. The answer comes before the app, and it stands up without it.

Nothing is sponsored, nothing is a favour review, and when I mention one of my own apps I say so plainly rather than slipping it into the middle of a comparison. The numbers come from public sources or from my own measurements, and I would rather write "I don't know" than pad.
