Reptor privacy policy
Reptor has no server. Everything it knows about you is on your iPhone, and nothing is ever sent to us.
Last updated: 6 October 2026
1. The short version
Reptor has no server. The app creates no account, asks for no email address, and sends us no data. Everything it knows about you is on your iPhone.
Two features, which you turn on yourself and can turn off at any time, take part of your results out of the app, but never to us:
- Apple Health, which receives a copy of your sessions, on your iPhone;
- the leaderboard, which goes through Game Center, Apple's game service.
The camera is used to count your push-ups. No image is stored or transmitted: frames are analysed and discarded in the same instant.
2. Who is responsible
The data controller is Teddy Verneuil, sole trader
14 bis rue Magellan, 56860 Séné, France

Contact: contact@lezbroz.com
3. What stays on your iPhone
- Your sessions: date, type, detected and valid repetitions, each set's detail, score, duration, form faults noted, timed test results.
- Your training profile: first name if you entered one, goal, frequency, experience, validated max, preferred variation, unlocked variations.
- Your body profile if you filled it in: age, height, weight and sex, all optional (sex also offers "Not specified").
- Your settings: voice, sounds, haptics, units, notifications.
This data is kept in the app's private container, protected by iOS encryption. We have no access to it.
The Home Screen widget reads a short summary (this week's sessions, the next session) that the app leaves in a space shared with its own widget, on your iPhone. Nothing leaves it.
4. The camera, and what is left of it
Nothing.
Each frame goes to Apple's body pose detection, which runs on your device. What comes out is a list of joint positions, coordinates, from which Reptor computes angles. The frame itself is released immediately afterwards. It is never written to disk and never transmitted.
The video feed is shown on screen only so you can frame yourself.
5. Apple Health (optional)
If you turn it on in your Profile, Reptor writes a workout to Apple Health for each completed session: activity type, start and end time, and an estimate of the energy burned if you entered your weight.
Reptor reads nothing from Apple Health. Writing happens on your iPhone, through the system. You can withdraw the permission at any time in the Health app, and delete the workouts there.
6. The Game Center leaderboard (optional)
The leaderboard is only active if you choose to join it, on the leaderboard screen, after an explanation of what is shared.
What is sent: your scores, meaning the number of camera-validated repetitions in the week and your best single session, in two categories (standard push-ups, easier push-ups). They are published under your Game Center name, which is how other players see them.
This service is provided and run by Apple, which processes this data under its own privacy policy. Reptor has no server: we receive neither your identity, nor your account, nor your sessions. Your age, weight, sex and session details are never sent.
You can leave the leaderboard at any time: Reptor then stops sending your scores. Those already published stay in Game Center until you reset them in Game Center's settings.
7. What never reaches us
The app contains no analytics library, no tracker, no advertising identifier, no audience measurement and no automatic crash reporting. Apart from Apple Health and Game Center when you turn them on, and checking your purchases with Apple, it opens no connection.
The coach's voice is recorded inside the app: it needs no connection.
In practice: we do not know how many push-ups you do, whether you open the app, or even whether you have installed it.
8. Purchases
Reptor Pro is sold by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes the payment and keeps the purchase history. We never see your payment details, your name or your address.
The app checks with Apple whether a valid purchase exists, to unlock the Pro features. This check sends us nothing.
9. Why, and on what basis
Processing training data is necessary to provide the service you asked for: without it the app cannot count, track progress, or adapt a programme.
Based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time:
- camera access, given in the iOS dialog;
- the body profile: age is used to adjust recovery and, with sex, to place a timed test result against published norms; weight is used to estimate the energy written to Apple Health;
- Apple Health;
- the Game Center leaderboard.
10. How long
For as long as you keep the app, and not a second longer.
Two actions on the Profile page, in the danger zone, erase your data immediately and permanently: "Reset training data" deletes every session and every validated max; "Start over" returns the app to a fresh install. Deleting the app also erases everything.
Workouts written to Apple Health stay there until you delete them in the Health app. Scores published to Game Center stay there until you reset them in Game Center's settings.
11. Where it is hosted
On our side, nowhere: no server, no remote database, no backup.
If you have turned on iOS iCloud Backup, an encrypted copy of the app's data may be included in your device backup, managed by Apple. Reptor does not control this and has no access to it.
12. Your rights
European law gives you the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability.
Since we hold nothing, you exercise them directly in the app:
- Access and portability: Profile, "Export my data", which produces a readable file of everything stored.
- Rectification: the Profile screens.
- Erasure: the danger zone, or deleting the app.
- Objection: turn off Apple Health or leave the leaderboard.
For data held by Apple (Apple Health, Game Center, purchases), these rights are exercised with Apple.
For any question, write to contact@lezbroz.com. If the answer does not satisfy you, you can contact the CNIL, the French supervisory authority.
13. Security
Data rests in the app's private container, encrypted by iOS as soon as your device is locked with a passcode. There is no password to steal and no server to breach. Your data is as safe as your iPhone: keep it updated and locked.
14. Children
Reptor is not intended for people under 15 and does not knowingly collect any data about them. A Game Center account that Apple flags as a minor's cannot join the leaderboard.
15. Changes
This policy may change if the app changes. The date at the top shows the latest version, and any significant change is announced in the app.
