Minot terms of use and sale

What Minot provides, what stays free, how Premium works and who fulfils printed products.

Last updated: 12 September 2026.

1. Scope

These terms govern the Minot iPhone app, its backup service, family galleries and print journey. Using Minot means accepting them. Apple’s standard licensed application end user licence agreement also continues to apply to the App Store app.

2. The service

Minot helps a parent build a child’s private museum: import or photograph artwork, date and display it, record the child’s voice, keep image versions, browse a timeline, share a family gallery and compose a print or book.

Minot is not an evidentiary archive, a replacement for your own backup or a professional art restoration service. The parent remains responsible for the originals and must check every image, caption and PDF before using or ordering it.

3. The parent account

The first museum can be used locally without an account. Sign in with Apple is required before a Premium purchase and for remote features. The account must be created and used by an adult authorised to manage the child’s content. Different Apple identities keep their remote family data separate.

4. Free use

The free tier includes, among other things:

  • one museum stored locally on the iPhone;
  • up to fifty local artworks and fifty voice memories;
  • Apple framing, rotation and preparation;
  • Museum, catalogue, Timeline, search and favourites views;
  • manual export and import of a Minot archive.

Limits shown in the app apply to stored items and may prevent another addition until space is freed or Premium is enabled.

5. Minot Premium

While active, Premium provides:

  • multiple museums and unlimited local artworks and voice memories;
  • 5 GiB of private storage per family and recovery on a new iPhone;
  • the private, revocable family gallery;
  • fifty 4K museum restorations in each rolling thirty-day window;
  • other features marked Premium in the app.

Apple sells and collects payment for the monthly or yearly subscription. The App Store price and currency shown when you buy prevail. It renews automatically until cancelled in Apple account settings. Deleting Minot or the Minot account does not cancel the subscription. Apple handles subscription refund requests.

When Premium ends, new cloud writes, restorations and gallery creation stop. Existing cloud data can be read and exported for thirty days and becomes eligible for remote deletion after ninety days. Content already on the iPhone remains available.

6. AI museum restoration

Restoration uses an image model provided by Kie.ai. It aims to reduce photographic defects while respecting the drawing, but a generative model may change a colour, line, handwriting or texture, or invent a detail. Strict fidelity is not guaranteed.

Minot keeps the original separate, checks the result and may require parent review. The parent must compare the versions and accept or reject the output. Cancelling stops a late result from becoming the displayed version but cannot guarantee that provider computation already under way stops immediately. A provider-consumed attempt may count against the allowance even when the user later rejects it.

7. The family gallery

A parent may publish a child’s complete museum in a private gallery that updates as new artwork arrives. A link and six-digit code control access. A durable invitation remains valid until replaced or revoked; a limited invitation expires on the chosen date.

Anyone holding both access elements can view shared content. The parent is responsible for distributing them and must not publish them publicly. Voice memories are only shared when the corresponding option is enabled.

8. Printed products

Minot can compose a 30 × 40 cm print or a square book from selected artwork. The user must check the product, size, page count, preview and delivery information before payment.

Peecho B.V. is the seller, printer and shipper of the physical product. Its address is Herengracht 340, 1016 CG Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Minot creates the file, opens Peecho’s secure checkout and later displays the statuses it receives. Peecho collects payment, applies destination taxes, arranges production and delivery, sends confirmations and handles after-sales service under its buyer terms.

Teddy Verneuil acts as Minot’s publisher and may receive a margin on the sale. He does not receive the customer’s card number, payment or billing address entered with Peecho.

9. Price, currency and delivery

The final price shown by Peecho checkout before confirmation prevails. It details the product, shipping, applicable taxes, currency and payment methods available for the destination. These may vary by country, product and address. An unsupported destination may make ordering unavailable.

Delivery times are estimates supplied by Peecho and its carriers. They begin after payment validation and depend on production, destination and transport. Tracking appears in Minot when supplied by the provider.

10. Review, cancellation and withdrawal

Before paying, the user must check framing, orientation, resolution, margins, artwork order, titles, names and dates. A backlit screen may render brightness and colours differently from paper.

Orders generally enter production quickly and may then be impossible to change or cancel. In case of an error, immediately contact contact@lezbroz.com and Peecho, without any guarantee that production can still be stopped.

Each print or book is made from family-selected artwork and entered text. It is made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised, so the fourteen-day withdrawal right does not apply under Article L221-28(3) of the French Consumer Code. This does not remove rights for damaged, defective or non-conforming goods. Keep the order reference, photograph the packaging and product and promptly contact Peecho or Minot support. Statutory guarantees are exercised against the seller shown at checkout.

11. Your content and responsibilities

Artwork, voices, photos and text remain their owner’s. Processing is limited to the requested storage, display, sharing, restoration or print function. The parent confirms they have the authority and rights required for the content, including any consent required for identifiable people’s image and voice.

The parent grants Minot and the relevant providers only the non-exclusive, technical, time-limited permission needed to provide the requested feature. They must not upload, share or print unlawful, infringing, hateful, sexual or violent material, or material that violates another person’s rights.

  • Use Minot lawfully and with respect for the child’s rights.
  • Do not bypass limits, Premium rights or security measures.
  • Do not access another family’s museum, gallery or order.
  • Keep the family link and code among intended recipients.
  • Give Peecho accurate order and delivery information.
  • Keep a separate copy of artwork that matters to you.

12. Availability and liability

Minot is provided “as is”. The publisher takes reasonable steps to keep it available and make transfers resumable but does not promise uninterrupted operation, zero errors or compatibility with every future iOS release. Apple, Cloudflare, Kie.ai, Peecho and carriers may have their own outages.

Local features work offline as far as iOS allows. Synchronisation, galleries, restoration, prices, payment and tracking require a connection. The user must verify metadata, AI output, invitees and print files. The publisher cannot be responsible for loss caused by the absence of a backup, incorrect input, access shared with a third party, refused iOS permission, a full device or use contrary to these terms.

The seller shown at checkout bears contractual responsibility for the physical sale, production, payment collection and delivery. Nothing here excludes any guarantee, liability or consumer right that the law does not allow to be excluded.

13. Minot intellectual property

The Minot name, visual identity, screens, text, templates and code belong to the publisher or its licensors. A personal, limited, revocable and non-transferable licence lets you use the app and compose the offered products. It does not authorise commercial reuse of the templates or service.

14. Account deletion and suspension

The parent can delete the account and remote data in Settings. Access is revoked at once and deletion starts, with automatic retries if a provider is temporarily unavailable. Local data is erased separately. Data Peecho must keep for a completed order remains subject to Peecho’s obligations as seller. The publisher may suspend manifestly fraudulent, abusive, dangerous or unlawful use, with notice where possible.

15. Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top prevails and material changes will be announced in the app or on this page. The terms shown when a print is purchased apply to that order.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law, subject to mandatory rules in the consumer’s country of residence. A complaint about Minot must first be sent to contact@lezbroz.com. A complaint about a physical product sale can also be sent to Peecho as seller.
